The fine powder of this fruit can be applied to control bleeding, acting as both an astringent and is a good styptic agent.

It primarily helps balance pitta dosha. Amalaki is a powerhouse of Vitamin C and tannins. Consuming one to two teaspoons of triphala powder mixed with warm water before bedtime facilitates bowel evacuation the following morning. Alternatively, one may prepare a hot infusion of triphala and consume it prior to retiring for the night to achieve a similar effect.

One teaspoon of triphala powder, when combined with honey and administered as a paste once daily, is beneficial for eye health. An infusion of triphala, prepared at room temperature, may be utilized as an eye wash once or twice per day to aid in the management of dry eyes.

Mix triphala powder with water to make a paste and apply it as a hair pack. Allow it to remain for 20 minutes. Subsequently, wash your hair gently with triphala-infused water. This method aids in enhancing hair growth, delaying greying, alleviating itchy scalp, and functioning as a natural conditioner.
